These cake truffles which we delivered to Le Treport in Mississauga were part of a unique wedding favour which included a charitable donation made in the name of the couple’s wedding guests. Featured above are truffles coated with milk chocolate and make with chocoalte cake and dulce de leche buttercream.

These custom sugar cookies were a small part of a celebration for a little baby boy’s baptisim. Forty vanilla cookies were covered in sky blue vanilla royal icing and accented with the little guy’s name,  a sanding sugar trim and a little royal icing daisy.

At a recent cake tasting, some wonderful clients took pictures of my cakes and buttercream fillings and I thought I would share.  This picture was taken by my first client, a very talented jewelery designer,  who posted all her pictures and comments about her cake tasting for her wedding cupcakes on her blog.  She is creating some gorgeous custom pearl bracelets for me that I can’t wait to show everyone!

A pink and purple two tiered birthday cake with a personalized cake topper, matching cupcakes and a ‘smash cake’ (complimentary with cakes for little ones!) were all part of the celebrations for an oh-so-cute little girl who is now one year old! The top tier was our rich chocolate cake with caramel buttercream filling and the bottom tier and cupcakes were traditional vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling.

These vanilla sugar cookies with vanilla royal icing were the perfect start to wedding season!

This bridal shower cake was a take on those special blue boxes we love to receive. The first layer was red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and the second was vanilla butter cake filled with lots of fresh strawberries and vanilla buttercream.

  This piano cake was part of a surprise birthday party thrown to celebrate a piano playing husband’s 40th brithday! The rich, dark chocolate cake was filled with layers of dulce de leche buttercream.
